The inquiry and quotation are needless to say. Let's start with BOOKING.
1. Confirm BOOKING: The first transmission of BOOKING can not be so detailed, just write the company name/destination port/several containers/what type of container/product name/which water vessel to be equipped with/the negotiated price. Finally, it is better to affix the official seal to protect the interests of both parties.
2. Booking shipping space from the shipping company: the freight forwarder, after receiving BOOKING, asks the operator to arrange shipping space from the shipping company according to the situation agreed with the customer.
3. The shipping company releases S/O: the shipping company confirms that there is a hold and releases S/O (SHIPPING or DER) to the freight forwarder. S/O is the certificate of container pick-up and shipment.
4. Take S/O to pick up the cabinet: after taking the S/O, print the order according to the instructions written on the S/O, and go to the designated place to pick up the cabinet. The cabinet number and seal number will be generated only after the order is printed. The seal is actually a lock made of plastic and metal, which is disposable rather than the paper seal in the concept. Of course, MSC, a shipping company, can directly go to the designated place to pick up the counter without printing the order. There will be a bill printing fee (generally 30). Sometimes there will be a wall container fee when the container is withdrawn, and there may also be a weight selection fee when the heavy container is withdrawn (according to the shipping company).
5. Cabinet making: the trailer pulls the Ji cabinet (empty cabinet) to the factory to install the cabinet, which is also called the cabinet.
6. Return: After the cabinet is loaded, seal it and pull it back to the dock yard, or call it return. (Empty container return is also called empty container return. If empty container return is called empty container return, the air return fee will be paid. Different shipping companies have different fees.).
7. DEBIT NOTE: The shipping company will open the DEBIT NOTE to the freight forwarder, and the freight forwarder will open the DEBIT NOTE to the customer. If it is confirmed that there is no mistake, you should pay according to the designated account (if it is related to the exchange rate in foreign countries, you must negotiate with your guests about the exchange rate. Don't underestimate the exchange rate difference. Maybe only the difference of a few dollars will make your guests unhappy and affect the next cooperation).
After the payment, you can put the bill of lading to your guests after the payment is received (telex release is allowed if the payment is received). If the payment is received, the monthly settlement will be explained separately.
These are the whole ocean shipping process in the Pearl River Delta region. Compared with other regions, it is much simpler, more "humanized", and more casual.
