Domestic logistics

Domestic logistics refers to the logistics activities carried out within the territory of the country to serve the overall interests of the country. As an important aspect of the national economy, domestic logistics should be included in the national overall planning. China's logistics industry is an important part of national modernization. Therefore, the construction investment and development of domestic logistics must focus on the overall situation, remove the logistics obstacles caused by the division of departments and regions, and build some large-scale logistics projects as soon as possible to serve the national economy.

A state or an entity equivalent to a state refers to a political or economic entity that owns its own territory, territorial sea and airspace. All the plans, laws and policies it has formulated serve its own overall interests. As an important aspect of the national economy, logistics should also be included in the overall national planning. China's logistics industry is also an important part of the socialist modernization cause. The development of the national logistics system must focus on the overall situation, and the logistics obstacles caused by the division of departments and regions should be removed. The construction investment of logistics system should also be considered from the overall perspective, so that some large-scale logistics projects can be completed as soon as possible to serve the economic construction.

As the overall logistics system of the country, the planning and development of domestic logistics should give full play to the administrative role of the government, specifically in the following aspects:

1. The construction of logistics infrastructure, such as the construction of roads, highways, ports, airports, railways, and the configuration of large logistics bases.

2. Formulate various transportation policies and regulations, such as price regulations for railway transportation, truck transportation, sea transportation, air transportation, and tax standards.

3. The standardization of various facilities, devices and machinery related to logistics activities is the only way to improve the operational efficiency of the national logistics system. In order to provide a basis for standardization, the concept of "logistics module" is proposed. The so-called logistics module refers to that when determining the size of each element of the logistics system, its quantity should be a multiple of a certain benchmark size (decimal or integer multiple) to achieve logistics rationalization and standardization. This benchmark size is called logistics module. The standardization and normalization of various bills in logistics activities are also important contents.
